For the sixth consecutive year, Garber Automotive Group dealerships in the Tri-Cities area and the associated organizations have assisted Habitat for Humanity in helping make our community a better place. With over 100 volunteers signed up every year, the Saginaw Neighborhood Revitalization has been going strong, and we expect the same enthusiasm next year.
The Neighborhood Revitalization Project took place from Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15 in pockets all over the city, based on skills, experience level, and need. Some associates helped paint a house or pull up the carpet with skills they already knew, while some learned new skills like ramp-building and window installation.
The Habitat organization showed its appreciation with a luncheon for all volunteers on the day of their shift. Garber employees worked four-hour shifts in the morning or afternoon so we could all gather at lunchtime to share in the joy of the project.
The Garber Team is always happy to contribute, and we look forward to another great response next year. Look at our volunteers below and visit the local Habitat for Humanity Page to find out what you can do to help your community today.
